I enjoyed my time at West! Most of my teachers were good and helpful. They made a lot of improvements while I was there like power hour, study areas, and more late arrivals. For me, I know I’ll eventually forget the quadratic formula and the story of Hamlet but I’ll never forget the friendships and memories that have formed throughout these four years. These years completely changed me which I’m sure is true for everyone here. I am not the girl that I was freshman year. I can proudly say that my years at West have prepared me for my future.

Nice study atmosphere, students are all friendly and United, teachers are really helpful and kind. I really enjoyed study over here as an international student, I wish the school will get better and better. Let’s go Jags!
Blue Valley West has great teachers with a great principal, Dr. Potts. The students ability to take tests are good however there are too many of them causing students to cram and not trully retain all the information presented to them. This may be because the school is rated and funded off how well they test. There are some very good teachers that truly get you ready for college while others it’s more about the testing and getting a good grade. Overall I think the atmosphere, students, and staff is very good. It’s a great place to bond with people however it’s not a very diverse. A friend of mine who was a foreign exchange student from Hungary couldn’t believe how much testing he had to because in Hungary test results for his school are not as stressed. Blue Valley schools gives great opportunities but lack the real world teachings that with most Americans money is hard to come by and they can’t just spend it whenever they want.
