Simply put, Blue Valley North High School ("BVN")is the #1 high school in the state of Kansas. This blue-ribbon award-winning high school boasts the highest test scores and academic achievements in the state. Coupled with outstanding extracurricular opportunities and programs designed to meet virtually any set of interests, this school is second to none. I would humbly suggest that in fact, BVN is higher ranked than Blue Valley High School (part of the same Blue Valley Unified School District) which is currently ranked in this forum as the #1 school in the state. Let the fact-checking begin. Truly either offers an excellent education and incredible college preparedness, but BVN is truly #1!

The school district works an hour-long period into the middle of each day for students to get help from teachers and eat lunch. Personally, this period has given me more time with teachers of my honors and advanced placement courses. Teachers strive to ensure every student comprehends class material comprehensively and will never turn away a student with questions. Counselors and school staff will help students with anything from personal problems to advice about preparation for standardized tests. The support network at the school is extensive, and the atmosphere of collaboration fosters a passion for learning in students, regardless of skill level.
Hands down has to be one of the best high schools in the country. I received such an excellent education from BVN and was surrounded by a faculty who genuinely cared about my well-being and my success inside and outside the classroom! Also, it beyond prepared me for college!
