As a freshman in college this year, I find myself missing high school more and more, especially as I get to hear about what my friends still in high school are up to. I miss the atmosphere at BVHS, the amazing people I met there, and the opportunities I had. Choir, theater, showchoir, plays, and musical made high school perfect, and I'm not able to participate in those quite as easily in college. Amazing teachers such as Linda Eagleton and Marsha Moeller helped shape my academic and extracurricular paths in college, and I owe much of my success to them. I loved my time at Blue Valley High School!

The vast majority of students at Blue Valley High School exhibit so much school spirit, and everyone can get involved in something with the multitude of clubs offered, as well as a number of sports and other activities to choose from. Our principal, Mr. Bacon, is one of the most enthusiastic, friendliest people I have ever met, and he sets an amazing example for students as he has the most school spirit out of anyone at Blue Valley. Most teachers I have had care about their students beyond an academic level, which is not always something students can say about their staff. Academics are rigorous here, and students are pushed to meet their full potential, but the rigor allows for all students to be college-ready. The list goes on of all the things I am proud to say I have had the opportunity to be a part of at this school. I am going to miss it next year as I head off to college, but I will never forget the great experiences I have had as a Tiger at Blue Valley.
Our school is deep in tradition and has many opportunities for all kinds of students. I have enjoyed my time at Blue Valley High School and have been a part of the soccer and baseball programs along with the AVID program, and DECA. I think Blue Valley has prepared me for college by the curriculum and helping me to become a good problem solver and thinker. They also do many special events throughout each school year that gets the students and staff involved. I have had many teachers who are very caring and want the best for each student. I wouldn't trade my high school experience for the world, but I look forward to the next level.
