I love everything about blue valley high school except for one thing; their lack of college prep for seniors. Sure, they have an act/sat prep class, but nothing for us that focuses on applying, and the things you need to prepare for when going to college. If they fixed that issue it would definitely benefit seniors!
Super fun school, great learning environment! The teachers are very caring and helpful and are dedicated to students learning.
I think this is a very good high school. It gives every student a chance to succeed within the classroom and has classes meant to prepare its students for life after high school such as personal finance. The school supports many clubs that are available for every person to enjoy given they have a free enough schedule to attend. The athletics programs are pretty good along with the other extra-curriculars. Their policy on bullying needs to be enforced though. In a recent survey of the school, I found almost half of the student body had been previously bullied with a small percent still being bullied. This could be attributed to bullying in middle and elementary schools but it is clear that the administration is unaware of this issue and doesn't address it at any level.
