Blue Valley High School Reviews
Rating 4.32 out of 5 370 reviews
Blue Valley High School, located in a serene suburban setting, is an school that played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between my secondary education and my future endeavors in the field of medicine. It is a commendable school that has nurtured countless students and prepared them for their academic pursuits. As the world rapidly advances, it is evident that Blue Valley High School is in need of significant updates to continue providing a well-rounded education. The faculty and staff are dedicated professionals who prioritize the success of their students, going above and beyond to ensure a high-quality education. Despite its many strengths, Blue Valley High School would greatly benefit from updates and improvements to align its curriculum and facilities with modern educational standards. Upgrading the science laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment and technology would enhance hands-on learning experiences, enabling students to conduct advanced experiments and research.
Blue Valley High School, home of the Tigers, is a high-performing and professional learning school that welcomes its students into a community. At BVHS we develop positive friendships and relationships with our peers and staff. Our school is known for preparing students for high achievements and life-making careers. My experience at BVHS has been wonderful for me to expand my art business and develop connections that will help me in the future. Not only does BVHS value my academic success but my hobbies and personal aspirations. The wide range of support and classes allows me to experience subjects I wouldn't have known interest in otherwise. The downfall is that sometimes there isn't enough student body to fill some classes and therefore some are not offered anymore. Other than that our academics, sports, and activities offer unlimited possibilities along with school culture to bring about the best high school experience.
Overall, the school is a great place to go to every day. I never have to worry about being bullied or the threat of being bullied. Conflicts outside of school occur rarely and it has its own policemen that monitor the halls daily. The inside of the school is well maintained in terms of cleanliness, structural quality, and the safety of school equipment. Food is always available for breakfast and lunch; getting a basic lunch now doesn't cost any money! Breakfast and lunch always has a variety of food to choose from. The staff is always friendly and ready to teach. Two things I would improve on are the college readiness classes and the food quality. There are a few classes and seminars that teach about getting ready for college (such as AVID), but more college readiness classes would be extremely beneficial. The food quality of the basic lunches are okay at best. It's still edible, but the basic food isn't perferred. Other than those improvements, Blue Valley High is a great school!
