I love how caring all of the staff members and administrators are. All of the principals know their students by name, and will have a conversation with you at any given time. The teachers love to stay connected with their students as much as possible throughout the rest of their high school career and possibly long into the future. I do think, though, the counselors should be better equipped and trained to help students with their mental health struggles. The counselors main focus is to make sure you get enough credits and can get into college, and get scholarships. Other than that I absolutely love this school am am beyond blessed to have been able to attend!

Blue Springs South High School has given me knowledge, friendships, and opportunities that will stay with me forever. The teachers care about their students, and take the time to get to know them. The classes are challenging, but there are resources and help all around us. Blue Springs South looks out for their students and strives to give them the best high school experience possible. I would not trade my high school for any other. I am proud to be a jaguar!
I loved my high school experience. I loved my teachers and school. The teachers are educated and they actually care for their students. I became close with many of my teachers. BSS has a reputation of good academic standing and I thought it was an amazing place to learn. I dove and cheer'd for the high school team. I absolutely loved diving and my experience all four years but I couldn't say the same for cheerleading because of my coach. In school, we talked a lot about diversity, and other things that aren't normally talked about that can be uncomfortable, like mental health. I thought the mental health discussions were very important and it was awesome that it was finally being talked about! The anatomy class I took with Dr. Norman is what got me ready for my college classes and for that I am so thankful. I wouldn't have been able to do as good my first semester of college without Dr. Norman! I am so lucky and proud to say: once a jag, always a jag!
