I like the diversity of Bloomfield Hills High School where I am exposed to various religious and cultural backgrounds. The learning environment is unique and resembles some college class settings that I have seen. Bloomfield Hills High School offers a wide array of clubs and athletic opportunities. Even non-athletic students are encouraged to excel in various cerebral and artistic activities. As a music student, I can attest to the high level of competency of the music instruction and performances, including marching band, jazz band, symphony band, and individual competition in Solo & Ensemble. As an International Baccalaureate school, students can excel well beyond the traditional high school academic standards. Significant importance is placed on individuality and the right of self-expression, producing a number of professionally and culturally successful individuals who are now great leaders in their chosen field.
Bloomfield Hills High School is full of diversity and opportunities for every student. As a science lover, I was able to take advantage of Bloomfield Hill's Biomedical program, which is the first of its kind in Michigan. Due to this opportunity, I was able to leave school to participate in real world internships, learning hands on whether that was a career I wanted to pursue or not. For my peers with different interests as me, they have amazing opportunities in our arts departments or can join one of the plethora of clubs Bloomfield Hills offers. The support from the faculty has been amazing, and they really have your best interest at heart. The counseling office especially has helped guide me through my high school years, even when I was uncertain of the future. I would not be who I am if it wasn't for Bloomfield Hills High School.
I have attended Bloomfield Schools since I was 5 years old. I have always remained in this school district, and I will continue to until the day that I graduate. This school allows diversity ranging from sports, clubs, theater, DHH program, NHS and so much more. I partake in two different sports, five different clubs, and several AP and IB classes. This school has made the me the person who I am today and has taught me to grow as a student through working diligently and efficiently to always succeed and put my best work forward for the good of myself and my piers around me.
