Administration is a joke, and there is a toxic culture surrounding all sports. Punishments never fit crimes, and teachers love to give uniform infractions for minor correctable problems. There are a number of teachers who try to teach and actual care, but the majority could care less about one's performance and are focused on their athletic teams. The rest of the teachers have no clue what they are doing and should not be teaching.
It is very hard to describe Blessed Trinity. Sometimes I feel as if the administrators care more about pushing the perceived success of their students more than their actual success. I have struggled academically in higher classes and have witnessed the abundance of stress-related mental health issues that I feel go hand-in-hand with the push toward academic success. The culture of the school, with clubs, athletics, house competitions, and fine arts, is great and very fun and pretty much everyone is involved. The only problem is that there seems to be a shadow of negativity and insecurity relating to academic success. This could be helped if there was a school counselor relating to the mental health of the students. That being said, BT is a great school where everyone has a place to fit and something to be involved in.
