Wonderful School!!!! BSS prepared my 2 sons for public high school where they both graduated with high honors and distinctions and are now at CSU Long Beach. My oldest is a senior Mechanical Engineering major who is on the Deans Honor roll every semester, my 2nd son is a freshman math / statistics major and is doing excellent.
My daughter is currently at BSS and she is also doing very well academically.
It's an incredible learning environment and school, where all the kids are taught to be kind to one another and help each other in their learning experience. It's a great culture.
BSS laid this foundation and continues to do so every day of the year.

I can't praise BSS and principle Ms McAree and the teaching staff enough for their hard work, high quality education and tireless effort over the years to make this school as great as it is.

What more can you ask for with a high quality education at a "Fair" price, especially at BSS where a quality education is "Priceless".

I liked the atmosphere of the school. It's a good environment for those who want their kids to become more familiar with the Catholic faith instead of sending them to bible school on the weekends. Plus, every 2nd grade class offers First Holy Communion lessons. The fact that it's a private school means that students are given more attention and the teachers are more approachable. However, the turnover rate is somewhat high and teachers are constantly coming and going. The principal is very nice and loves what she does, but she is about to retire soon and I'm not sure how the school is going to look after she does. Overall, I'd say it's a good school but it's not for everyone.
The school is well known for promoting the Catholic faith, hence creating 2 clubs. One is called Christians in Action (CIA), which is for kids in grades 3-6. They spend 15 minutes of recess talking about the faith and praying for those in need. Another is called Teens Loving Christ (TLC), which is for kids in grades 7-8. They also spend 15 minutes of their recess praying and talking about God. Also, BSS tends to focus on academics, which is why they have a decathlon.
