Hello there, I currently attend Blanche Ely High School thus in my opinion, although it's quite an interesting school, I think most of the teachers need a little more learning themselves, I mean, how did they even become teachers? There's actually a few who are very good at what they do. Thank you!

My experience at Blanche Ely High School was sub-par to say the least. There is nothing exceptional about the school other than the nursing program, marching band, and sports teams, which the school seems to prioritize anyway. The facilities are often dirty, due to the kids not knowing how to clean up after themselves. It does seem to be moving towards improvement, with renovations being made to enhance the school, but being a student DURING the time of renovations is another story; it just leaves less room for students in a school that seems to be having a growing population.
Blanche Ely and the staff prepares you in every way for heading to college 4 years later. The guidance counselors and brace advisor keeps you informed on various opportunities and programs available for students to get a head start..such as taking the PERT exam to do dual enrollment and earn college credits while in high school. They offer various extra curricular activities in sports, band, organizations in the engineering and medical field etc. Blanche Ely is very diverse and they strive to improve each child in every way possible.
