They have many awesome programs - Like the Center for Engineering, Mathematics, and Science! The teachers are very high quality, as well. However, the school is extremely overcrowded, and so are class sizes. It really makes it cramped to do anything, as the student body is very large compared to the size of the building!
There's tons of diversity here at Blaine, where we can almost guarantee you will find a club you can join and love. From our nationwide Robotics team, Math Team, and Bengals in Action (LEO) club all the way to our Korean-pop dance club and Gay-Straight Alliance. The food is the same as you might find at other schools, however, we occasionally serve our school's favorite, Mandarin Orange Chicken! We have tons of resources for students here as well, like Bengal Junction, an after-school tutoring room for students to get one-on-one help from upperclassmen who have successfully taken the class you may be struggling to understand, free of charge!
I personally love the overall community of students, and the staff are excellent. Teachers are more-so helpful than not, and It actually feels as though they genuinely care about you and your success. Administration could use some work although, as I feel like there's a disconnect versus how the teachers approach students. Blaine also offers a diverse variety of resources, clubs, and activities for students, which is always a plus. Blaine also exceeds greatly in STEM programs such as the unique CEM's program, in which some enroll just for that.
