Ever since being in Blackstone Valley Prep, I felt like the education was very focused on teaching us things that we would really need for college. Compared to other schools, the education here is advanced and prepares the students for college. Not to mention that the school accepts students from about four different cities. I've met a lot of friends throughout my middle school and high school career. The people here are kind and accepting and there isn't much fights compared to other schools. The size of the school is relatively small compared to other schools as well, so it is a lot easier to get accustomed and receive help from teachers. The only thing I dislike is the new education system utilized called the Personal Learning Plan. However, students do receive a laptop to use in and out of school with no cost. Other than the system, I enjoy the school.

The school will support you in whatever you need. Because the school is small, it is able to care about the students even. More it is always looking to expand to make it better for the students. The high school has guidance counselors that help with the college process. The school is invested in giving all its students onto their way to college since kindergarten.
I wish the school had a library and a band. But, the school isn't bad. You get the opportunity to choose your classes and work at your own pace. There are still deadlines, though the teachers are willing to work with you if you have a problem. Working hard is required, but putting effort is the best idea to succeed. The school will push you to get to college and guide you along to the college you want.
