Bishop Watterson prepares its students for college well, but lacks in emotion and social needs. The administration is strict on clothes such as: no shorts at all and no leggings during dress down days, and the color of socks. The school is homophobic and its teachers have many scandals but are rarely fired. The school pretends to care about its students well-being but does not. If you or your child needs special care, the school and especially the teachers treat you like less of a person. If you have a mental disability, then the teachers will pretend like you dont need extra help. The work every night is much to high and very stressful especially if you play a sport and/or work. If the teachers do not like you then they make sure you know it. Not worth the 10,000 dollars, and the kids aren’t that nice either.

There are many amazing things about Watterson that many other students of others schools do not have the ability to experience. The support system at Watterson is truly something incredible. Everyone supports each other, especially during hard times. Also, all-school mass is something that I really love. Its a time when everyone can come together and be one in Christ.
At first I was very unsure of attending Watterson, but now that I am a senior I am sad to leave. I met many people at Bishop Watterson, and made unlikely friendships. While I believe that there are still some issues Watterson has to solve, I trust the future student councils and student body to come together to solve these issues. I know that Bishop Watterson students will always be able to work together because they have been, and always will be, a family community.
