I enjoyed high school for the most part because of the teachers, faculty, staff, administration, etc. They were very resourceful with the limited resources they had! Bishop Ward needs to find a permanent principal that knows what they’re doing to make better improvements. All the teachers that knew the traditions are gone so good luck to future students and staff.

I began my freshman year at Bishop Ward by deciding to try out for the volleyball team. I met my best friend by joining the team. I made many friends and became involved in clubs. The staff was always so willing to help you with anything, especially when it came time to start looking at colleges. I learned how to write scholarship essays, and also received helped searching for scholarships. They also prepared me for college academically. My teachers taught me to ask for help when I needed it, and to always put in my best efforts in tests and assignments. I learned to be responsible and to manage my time well this is very useful due to the fact that I am a student athlete. Thanks to the Catholic education I received at Bishop Ward, I am very strong in my faith, and am attending one of the best small Catholic colleges in the state of Kansas. Thanks to the education and opportunities I had in high school, I wouldn't be where I am today.
Although my ratings may not seem like it, I have enjoyed my years at Bishop Ward and I feel that they were the best fit for my personality and academic strength. I have succeeded in most of the regular and honors classes offered, and I feel like the teachers are truly involved and care about their student's success.
