I am going to be a senior this year at Timon, and I loved my previous years here. The atmosphere, the love we share with each other and our teachers is extraordinary! We all know each other here at Timon. You can walk down the hall and say hello to anyone. We’re all brothers here and this is a brotherhood I will cherish for the rest of my life.
The student teacher ratios are excellent. This allows for increased interaction between the teacher and student. I have always felt comfortable approaching teachers and staff. Students are treated on a much more personal level as opposed to being lost in large numbers.
Bishop Timon-St. Jude prepares students with a strong academic curriculum for college. AP regions and honor courses are offered throughout. Courses are even offered gaining college credits. This curriculum also well prepares students for SATs. I will have twelve college credits before I graduate from high school. The curriculum at Bishop Timon St Jude has directly impacted my pursuit of college, enabling me to secure many academic and merit scholarships.
Bishop Timon St Jude could increase diversity as a way to improve the school. Increased diversity would improve awareness to other cultures and improve tolerance of others. This would increase overall understanding of all people in general.

Not the greatest option. Academics are not where they should be. The boys are ill prepared for college. Athletics are an embarrassment, the AD is grossly inexperienced and it shows in the sports programs he runs. If you’re looking for a program that will give your son a challenging academic course load and an opportunity to play next level sports you absolutely want to look elsewhere.
