Bishop Seabury Academy is an excellent private college preparatory school with an emphasis on personal growth and academic honesty. The school offers an excellent curriculum with math courses ranging from pre-algebra to calculus 2, a diverse offering of electives, and an award winning arts and theatre program. The only area in which the school suffers is technology, as only one traditional computer science course is offered at the school and programming is not taught at any level. The small class sizes at seabury promote inclusivity and close connections with other students at the school, and Seabury's honor code system inspires trust and personal growth amongst students.

I left BSA with great faculty relationships and excellent college advising, yet I cannot in good faith recommend it, especially to students of underprivileged backgrounds.

Seabury students must abide by the "honor code," meaning no cheating on academic work, no hateful speech/behavior, and no drinking. BSA is a small school, and it's easy for the administration to police students. With policing comes racist and classist enforcement. Several times during my time at Seabury, students who had been discovered drinking were forced to apologize for violating the honor code in front of the entire school. The violation was noted in the college app. process. But punishments was disproportionately enforced upon students whose parents weren't on the Board of Trustees. There were exceptions, but fellow students whose parents were frequent donors rarely, if ever, were punished for drinking, sexually harassing female students in the hallways (I was often sexually harassed) or using racial slurs.
I love everything about this school! The science, language, and English classes were my favorite. The math classes are awesome. I love all of the extracurriculars that Seabury offers! My only critique is that I wish they had a bowling team in the winter that could compete with the likes of Free State and LHS. I can’t wait to see what it’s like after construction.
