We are ambitious for our students and believe that all young people have a right to expect an excellent education in a vibrant and supportive community where curiosity and intelligence are qualities to be admired. Our school is for students who are serious about education and want to explore their potential. Our teachers are passionate about learning. We stress the core curriculum and emphasize critical thinking in all areas. Classes are rich with discussion, and students are required to be active participants in their education. Our students develop into confident, engaged, and exuberant people who can adapt to diverse learning environments and challenges. BSA has a unique and powerful culture that continues to impress our visitors and new parents. Our students respect other people and embrace their differences. They are taught to find their voices, develop leadership skills, and take an interest in the larger community.

Bishop Seabury Academy Reviews
Seabury does have a religious identity, but as a nonreligious person, I've always appreciated how accepting the culture is. In my opinion, Seabury has embraced the principles of inclusion and diversity well as a 1A independent school possibly can.
The faculty here truly go above and beyond as well. I can say with confidence that all of my teachers are not just technically qualified but highly educated (in many cases over-qualified) and show consistent enthusiasm for their subjects and the broader school community.
Bishop Seabury is a lot of things. A great learning environment and an excellent foundation for college, yes, but also a unique and incredibly special place that I feel I can call "home."
However, there were occasions of sexual harassment of female students and the usage of slurs that I (and I believe many of my peers) often felt were not appropriately addressed by administration. It didn’t seem like the administration didn’t care, but it seemed like they were unwilling to do more than just have a conversation with students involved.
