I graduated from a 400 student elementary/middle school. I was nervous attending a highschool with 1,400 students. I can easily express I can not imagine going to any other highschool than Bishop O'Connell. Classes are offered in 3 levels. College prep, honors, and AP. This gives students the availability to study at their individual level. They also offer the Mueller Center for students that need extra help. All of my teachers have been fantastic. They are always willing to help. Teachers offer one on one help before school, after school, and during knight time (study hall) Bishop O'Connell offers hundreds of clubs and activities. If they don't have one you are interested in they are open to adding it. My high school is very diverse which allows different cultures to feel welcome. The administration is top knotch and they offer a great program with meetings to prepare the students and their families for college. I am proud to be a Knight!

I love Bishop O'Connell! The teachers I have had have not only made information relevant, but also interesting. The students are also amazing and it feels like a big family. Having gone to Catholic school my entire life, Bishop O'Connell has been the best high school experience I could ask for!
My time at DJO was an amazing one! I gained memories and friends that will last me a life time. I really loved the students and faculty and they were so helpful when my father passed of cancer my sophomore year. Everyone helped me through that tough time. They sent letters, held a mass, and just made my mom and I feel so so sooo loved. They even had a bus for all my friends and favorite teachers, to come to the funeral for my father. I am extremely grateful for everyone at DJO! Now that I am in college, I realized all of the hard work I was put through in my classes at O'Connell really did pay off. Some people in my current English classes can't even write a four page paper without stressing out!
