My experience at Bishop Noll institute has been amazing and unforgettable. I am part of the graduating class of 2023. I have been at Bishop Noll institute since my freshman and have grown up here. During my freshman year, the pandemic started and the staff and administrators have maybe the school safe and still fun, exciting, and engaging. The one thing that stands out here a Bishop Noll is the family environment. The School is rather, so it is easy to get know everyone and to really become close to them. The school offers a ton of clubs and programs p to help people become engaged and included. The one thing I would love to see change is a better representation of different races, ethnicities, and cultural. The school is very diversified but it needs to do a better job of making sure all the different students can be seen and heard. Overall Bishop Noll Institute is a great High school with a solid foundation based on the Catholic faith. The teachers and faculty love this out.
Bishop Noll is a small high school so everyone got to know one another and form tighter bonds with more people than a person probably would at a public school. All the teachers and other staff members treated us like we were their own children and genuinely wanted to see us thrive and be the best versions of ourselves. Even though it is a religious high school, it was an open minded atmosphere where everyone was respected despite personal belief or identity. One thing I particularly liked about being at Bishop Noll was how much music and the arts were appreciated. I was a band student in high school and I felt just as appreciated and acknowledged as the athletes. From talking with friends that attended other schools near Bishop Noll, sports were dominant and bands barely received attention. One thing I wish would change based on my experience is the inclusion of more talk about mental health. I feel it’s a very important topic, especially for teenagers.
What I like about bishop Noll is the family atmosphere that is there. Everyone knows almost everyone from sports, clubs, classes and outside activities. The also puts a good amount of importance on academics, especially stem. What I would like to see change is better faculty and teachers. There are a couple of teachers who do not have a passion for teaching, in which leaves some students behind. This is not all teachers but a small percentage of them.
