The faculty at BM are very nice, and will be sure to accommodate your needs. Most of the teachers are great, especially with higher level courses. I feel I will be prepared for college. The problem is the students that actually go to this school. This school consists entirely of cliques, and if you don’t find a group to hang around with, you will be alone. If you’re not a republican, a prep, or an athlete, you will basically be on your own. Even the “nerds” at the school are extremely competitive, arrogant, and only care about their grades. Also, BM claims to be an athletic school, but in reality, they only care if you’re in football, volleyball, or cheerleading. All the other sports are underfunded and neglected. In totality, my experience at BM has only been okay. I’ve made some good memories, but just as many bad ones surrounded by toxic and conceited rich people. As a senior, I CANNOT WAIT to graduate. May 21st can’t come soon enough!
My experience at Bishop Moore Catholic High school has made me realize that we are family! We as a one school, one community, and one team come together to help and encourage others to be the best they can be. As my last year here, I am truly the thankful for the excellent teachers, students, and faculties especially my guidance counselor who has prepared me for college by being there every step of the way since freshman year. Getting closer to graduation I have realized I’m leaving such a faithful, athletic, and diverse school. Senior year has shaped me to open my eyes to thank all my teachers because they have prepared me to succeed in the future. I’m grateful to have a family who protects me, guides me, and cares for me. I would never regret my four years, importantly teaching me to be loving and accepting to everyone inside and outside of school. No other school would made an impact on me like this. I’m truly and proudly to be called a Hornet. Once a Hornet always a Hornet
Bishop Moore is great place! The students are allowed to work closely with their teachers. There are certain gems within the school. I do wish the school considered duel enrollment with local colleges. Drama club should have a teacher/facilitator that instructs more that just alienate students.
