This school, while small, provides a safe learning space for all students. My overall critiques include the school's lack of educating its students on other religions, having an overall unwavering conservative nature, and doesn't do much in assisting students who are going through crises or need help with their mental health. I encourage the school to become more accepting and progressive, while also being more supportive of those who may be struggling with their mental health, faith, or academics.
The school, however, did have amazing teachers who listened and cared about their students. Most of them cared about making their classes work to their student's needs, while making it very engaging. Even most religion teachers were able to listen to student's questions and frustrations regarding their faith, which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, while the school can often be close-minded, it does have an atmosphere of community and faith shrouded in excellent academics.

I loved Bishop Moore for how well they prepared me for my college experience, but there was not much diversity among the student body and faculty. For the most part, they had teachers who truly cared about their students, but at the same time Bishop Moore knew about their problem teachers who would bully their students. The food at this high school was unlike anything you have ever seen before and was a very beautiful campus. It was just the things that the human eye didn't see that was the problem. For example, administration handled disputes and bullying situations horribly, and would just make the kids write a "written statement" just so it would look like they did something to take action, when in reality they did nothing. Great academic and athletic, but other than that...
I personally love Bishop Moore, but I can see why people hate it. If you are not involved in Campus Ministry or a club it can be miserable. Luckily, there are clubs for basically any interest. There are also a lot of cliques, and they form very fast. GET INVOLVED EARLY. The social aspect is not the best, but the education and resources are exceptional. If you are having any trouble, the academic support team will work with you and your teachers to help you. Religion classes are annoying but an easy A if you do the study guide (the sg is literally the test questions). They hold you back from taking harder classes to keep their pass rate higher, but if you fight it you can usually get around it. The food is really good, although expensive. The campus is beautiful. The music programs are not very good. The sports are but the kids can be very mean. Overall I recommend, especially if you are involved in your faith. It has been a very accommodating with my health issues, and I love it there
