As a Father of Twin Daughters who needed to be challenged academically and socially, Bishop answered our pray with the most affordable solution in the North Tampa area. Unlike other Catholic High School(s) in the area, Bishop gives "advancement" credit to income students who exceptionally complete Florida Virtual High School (FLVS) classes. Consequently, my freshman daughters are taking Algebra II (Honors) and Chemistry (Honors) ahead of their peers. This allows them to take Advance Placement courses next year and ultimately make them extremely competitive for Exceptional Universities in 2021! I can't see my daughters in any other High School!

My son transferred over to BMCHS after moving to Florida. We tried a local public high school, but it was not the right fit for him. After 6 weeks we pulled him out of the public high school. Not one person even asked "Why?" For the next year we homeschooled him, but he missed actual classes. We interviewed at Bishop McLaughlin and had a shadow day where he followed another student around the school. He loved it. One year later, he still loves the teachers, activities and environment. People and teachers are friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to this year!
Bishop has prepared me very well for college and I feel like I have learned a lot in all of my classes. It is very easy to get involved at the school because there are many clubs that cover a lot of different interests. The teachers here also care about their students and are almost always available for tutoring after school and some are even available before school. The academics are very good and there are both Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement classes available for students to take and challenge themselves. It is very nice having DE classes available on campus. One of my favorite things about Bishop is the use of a rolling schedule. With classes rotating on a 3 day basis, it makes the week easier and managing coursework easier.
