I'm a current junior at Bishop McDevitt High School and I have little to no complaints about the school! It is truly a phenomenal school where the teachers to pride in teaching the students and students take pride in learning and the school. I feel very safe and welcomed at McD, it truly is my second family. McD provides excellent academic, musical, and athletic opportunities and everyone always has SOMETHING to do here, as the school makes sure to have a club or sport for everyone. Bishop McDevitt is not just a Catholic school we go to to go to religion class and go to mass once a month, the students here learn and grow to be successful people in the real world. I've had amazing opportunities here such as being in the Catholic Witness newspaper and of course, making life long relationships. Once a crusader, always a crusader!!
My time at Mcdevitt was great! My fellow classmates were all kind and hard workers. Most of the teachers really care about your success and will do almost anything to help you pass or graduate. The administration was also very great and helpful. Anytime I was having a problem or a hard day I knew I could talk to someone and they would be caring and understanding.
Bishop McDevitt has a lot of supportive teachers and resources that helped me to succeed and prepare for college. The teachers, administration, and schoolwork challenged me to always work hard and put forth my best effort to earn good grades. The student body is like a family as everyone is accepted regardless of their grade, gender, race, religion, etc. Bishop McDevitt is a safe school that allows for learning without the pressures of negative outside influences.
