I have had an overall great experience at Bishop Kenny. It is a welcoming atmosphere in which I have come to meet some of my closest friends. While I am not active in sports and do not attend sporting events, I know that the school prides itself on spirit and involvement. I have taken part in many clubs that allow me to take on community service and form connections with my peers. The teachers, especially those from junior year, bring so much into the experience, from their personalities to the ways they present material to the ways they connect and take time with the students. While no school is perfect, I think that my experience allows me to speak positively on behalf of Bishop Kenny.
Bishop Kenny is a college preparatory high school and I had two sons graduate and I currently have two daughters attending. My sons were well prepared for college and are both excelling and have made many friends along the way. Bishop Kenny prepared them to make critical decisions regarding their professional future and gave them the tools to achieve success. The administration, teachers, and academic deans put the students first and set the tone for the entire school.
