Bishop Guertin is a great high school that prepares you tremendously for college. The teachers and staff are all so kind and helpful, and always available before school and after school to help you if you are having a hard time with something. Every single student is friendly and are respectful towards each other and the teachers and staff. BG has an excellent basketball and lacrosse program, but all of the other sports are average. They have a great variety of clubs and sports to join, and they all are great for making friends. I highly recommend doing a fall sport going into your freshman year if you are coming from a school that did not have many people attending BG. Doing this will let you meet new friends before starting school.

It is a super welcoming environment with dedicated faculty and staff! Students can be found on campus before and after school seeing teachers, hanging out with friends, and participating in sports.
Some of the staff and administration were not always pleasant to communicate with. I did build connections with some of the teachers, but the administration not so much. The academics was definitely difficult and it id prepare for college. I must say though because of the work load and the school environment I did not get the real high school experience. The other students were not very pleasant they were honestly snobby. I came from a public all my life until high school and it was not my choice to attend a private school. If I could go back I would convince my parents to send me to my towns public high school where I feel I could of made life long relationships with my old friends and teachers.
