Transportation to and from school is a lot because the buses don’t come in my area, I either get to school too early or late. Teachers are more helpful when you’re immersed in class but notices when a student is struggling. There’s a wide range of classes to choose from including AP classes, forensics, physics and many arts to choose from. When it comes to extracurriculars there are many school sports and short clubs such as skiing and rowing.
I have been at Bishop Grimes since 7th grade and have always enjoyed my experience. Making new friends or having a group of friends can be hard if you arent involved with different extra-curriculars. Overall, it is a supportive environment.
I would consider my time at BG pretty poor or average at best. Many times students, including myself, would not feel safe due to the school culture of not listening to the students when problems arise with faculty. The academics were very average and I never really felt challenged academically. The sports were alright but again lacked funding, as well as the arts department. Overall, I would not recomment Bishop Grimes as a place to send your kids.
