Bchs gave me a place to grow. I was definitely an introvert but through theater, debate team and strong support from my teachers, I gained confudence. They helped me to accept myself, be myself and grow as a person and in my faith. I ended up with leads in the plays, soloing at mass, 4thin my class and senior class president. I couldn't have done any of that without the support of others there. It was always open door, warm greeting and welcome. I look back on it and miss the closeness of the community. I owe them so much!

When i began my high school decision process, i always had one high school in mind, Bishop Connolly. Coming from a small elementary school, Bishop Connolly felt like the perfect fit. The school is large enough to have such a diverse group of kids, but still small enough where you can really get that individual time and relationship with teachers. Bishop Connolly to me is like a second home. The teachers really get to know you and who you are as a person, and truly care about if you succeed. The only thing i could wish that would change about Bishop Connolly is that if it could be made more available to other students. Coming here was an investment on my parents, but they knew i would thrive here, and i can honestly say Bishop Connolly has truly prepared me for college, and i wish everyone could have access to a school like this.
There’s staff in the school that like being difficult teachers/graders which isn’t that appealing going in as a first year student. Teaches are usually nice and supportive. Diversity really lacks here unfortunately but expected since it’s a catholic school. Some people are definitely favored over others and receive less punishment for misbehavior rather than others. Almost always packed a lunch. But during my recent year some staff have been really understanding and supportive. School really lacks funding for a lot of things unfortunately. But it is a very small community which is nice. Respond well to threats to school and safety of school. You are expected to be very independent your last two years so you have to get used to that. Some classes really affect your gpa more than usual classes at other schools. Overall not the worst school ever to spend your four years.
