Being a smaller school, Bishop Connolly High School offers a great sense of a family and community. Most Teachers and staff truely care and are willing to go above and beyond to help and support the student's needs. Extra help is always available when requested. Teachers are encouraging and supportive. One thing that I would suggest needing improvement, would be the guidance department or lack there of. Students would benefit from having additional support in areas provided by the guidance department. Where in this case, it falls on the teachers. In my case, overall, it has been a great experience filled with challanges and successes.

I really enjoyed my time at Bishop Connolly High School. I am a senior who has been applying to colleges, and my teachers and staff have been doing a great job in helping me with my application process, which I am very thankful for. They have made the process very easy and nice for me. The classes have also been really good, especially the humanities departments. I have learned a lot in my four years thanks to the great teachers who have been teaching me my favorite subjects for the past four years. The school has a very welcoming environment. I have been playing sports for all my years here and the teams are supportive, encouraging, and fun to play and watch, and has been my favorite part of my time here. The only things I would recommend improving are the selection of classes, the support to female sports, a better math department, a stronger review of grading, and more communication within the school administration.
Bchs gave me a place to grow. I was definitely an introvert but through theater, debate team and strong support from my teachers, I gained confudence. They helped me to accept myself, be myself and grow as a person and in my faith. I ended up with leads in the plays, soloing at mass, 4thin my class and senior class president. I couldn't have done any of that without the support of others there. It was always open door, warm greeting and welcome. I look back on it and miss the closeness of the community. I owe them so much!
