Academic excellence supported by faith formation creates a unique learning environment at Bishop Chatard to support development of our students: mind, body and soul. A robust student life program challenges every student, beginning freshman year, to try new things.

As the Archdiocese of Indianapolis North Deanery high school, it is our mission to serve all students who seek a Catholic education. We achieve that by maintaining an inclusive learning environment that offers over 50 Honors, AP and Dual Credit courses along with an innovative Academic Support Program that narrows learning gaps.

Trojans graduate college-ready. Bishop Chatard’s 13:1 student-to-teacher ratio and individualized guidance program prepare students to attend the most challenging post-secondary institutions in the country. The Class of 2022 averaged $181,000 per student in scholarships and grants, and 63% of graduates earned Academic Honors diplomas.

Bishop Chatard Performance Opportunities

Students who plan to pursue music or theatrical performance beyond high school, as well as those who just feel it would be fun to be part of an ensemble or production, will find their niche in Bishop Chatard's performing arts program. Classes are taught in piano, guitar, ukulele, choir, band and theatre at progressive levels, providing the opportunity to hone individual skills. Check it out!
