Like any school, it has its positives and negatives. Here I have had some of the best teachers ever, who I love, but I’ve also experienced the worst teacher I’ve ever had. The AP capstone program here is very good and all the teachers that I’ve had for AP classes have been amazing! Because it’s a Catholic school, you’re required to go on religious retreats which junior and senior year are an amazing, life changing experience. Certain departments however can be very disorganized, I’ve had a different counselor every year which worries me for working with the counseling department during college application season. I feel that there could be better guidance for the path to college. Social life here can be “clicky” but it is very diverse here which is one of my favorite things about the school. One of the biggest flaws of the school has been poor administration, and multiple problematic staff members. The campus itself is great, and beautiful.

We researched many high schools, private and public. My son felt the most comfortable at this school. It is very diverse and in my opinion, more representative of real life. Kids need to be around a diverse student body, this only enriches their education and life experience. The staff has been very responsive and accommodating to any questions and concerns. My son feels safe and supported at this school. Not to mention the campus is absolutely gorgeous - it's like going to school at a resort, but make no mistake, there are tough rules and the administration and staff sustain and enforce them, which is all the more reason to love this organization. Highly recommend!
Bishop Alemany High School is a fabulous high school with everything your student needs to blossom into a well-rounded and prepared young adult. We have had a great experience at Bishop Alemany - the teachers are wonderful, knowledgeable and supportive, the faculty is kind and caring, and the administration displays fantastic leadership and encourages a supportive community. I can't imagine my student learning and flourishing in any other environment or at any other school in the area. I'm so happy we made the choice to go to Bishop Alemany!
