Not a fan. The counselor is always busy and the principal needs to approve EVERYTHING. It is relatively easy to navigate unless you have gym. The gymnasiums are located on the opposite side of the school building. There are two school buildings however one of the five schools gets an entire building to themselves even thought they aren't the largest school, while the other four share an old building that is falling apart. You have to be dressed for all temperatures because room temperatures fluctuate from "Antarctica" to "Sahara Desert." Besides the mold, disgusting bathrooms, cockroaches, and assortment of smells, there are teachers in this school that actually care about your educational success. The electives are more geared toward Health and Occupational Studies (science stuff), with the exception of the Business and Law electives. Recently added electives include Marine Science, Film & Literature, Speech & Debate, and Creative Writing. I love the secretary though, she's great!

As part of a community of schools, the experience at the school of Biotech was much better than that of the other schools we shared the building with. The administration was strict and expected the very best from all of the students, that sometimes coming off as pushy and disappointed. It stressed a lot of us out, but in terms of academics, the teachers were very educated and taught well, we had the necessary technology but not always materials, etc. Our school was not the cleanest, finding bugs and mice places they shouldn't be, but the building itself is old so there's not much to help that. Overall, the experience wasn't great, but not exactly bad either.
The school was average. Though the overall school of Olympic was broken up into five schools, there was nothing overly special about the classes being taught. I liked he classes that were specifically tailored to the educational endeavors of the students. There were certain teachers that had a true investment in the lives of the students which help me make the high school experience very pleasant.
