Big Flats School Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 1 review
I attended Big Flats Elementary in the late 2000s and early 2010s. My overall experience as a student was very good. Most of my teachers were loving, helpful, and really cared about their pupils. Sadly, I believe many of my former teachers have retired. The school is a good size for an elementary, and the school even has its own library, which I loved going in as a kid. The school has two playgrounds. When I attended, the one playground near the front entrance was mainly for PK-Second Grade students, and the playground with the tennis courts was for Third-Fourth Grade students. I don't know if this is still how the playgrounds are divided, but I'd assume that has remained the same for the most part. The PTA was very involved while I was a student at Big Flats. The school has a gym, and I believe the school still has both a music and art teacher. When I attended, the school had a guidance counselor, but I am not sure if they still do. I remember special needs teachers actively on hand.
