Bethpage Senior High School Reviews
Rating 4.04 out of 5 209 reviews
In Bethpage High School we have such a supportive group of teachers and staff along with our low student to teacher ratio making it easy to learn! Our principal knows just about everyone by name making the student’s experience in the school feel personalized! Bethpage school spirit thrives through the roof with our spirit weeks thanks to our student council, our football games, other sporting events and or spirit events. One thing that i’d love to see Bethpage add along is allowing students to have the opportunity to create their own clubs in order to explore their interests. Bethpage High School does an exceedingly well job allowing students to explore their interests with the vast range of classes to choose from but I believe by allowing students to have the chance to create their own clubs/organizations it would only benefit the students.
The administrators and educators at Bethpage Senior High School have their student's best interests at heart and truly try to help us succeed. Our school has an abundance of resources including extra help and an academic center. Pre-COVID the library was open after school so students could study and gain extra help. Our school prides itself on the student's hard work and determination in their classes. Bethpage offers many AP classes and test scores often have high successful rates. Our school is heavily sports orientated and has a good music program. As a music and art student, I can attest to the fact that the teachers of each program work hard to make the experience as best as possible. Our school has two theatre productions-a musical and a play-as well as a select vocal ensemble and honor society. As daunting as college can be, the teachers and guidance counselors work on college essays and set up virtual tours with colleges to get us ready for our college experience!
I loved my experience at bethpage high school. The guidance office is extremely helpful throughout the course of your high school life. I was able to meet my best friends. There was endless opportunities for joining new clubs and many classes offer credits transferable to many colleges. I also can’t express how amazing my teachers were inside and outside the classroom. They connected with me and helped me when I had difficulties in school and always wanted to help students succeed. I would like to see changes regarding more opportunities for juniors to get started on the college process to overcome deadlines. However the senior seminar class im enrolled in currently is an amazing opportunity to help me with a challenging process.
