Bethlehem Catholic High School Reviews
Rating 3.73 out of 5 179 reviews
I've had a great experience with Bethlehem Catholic. The teachers and staff are amiable, providing a very enriching academic experience, and take it seriously. It is a smaller school, so all students know each other and it feels more like a family. The school takes pride in its sports programs, and there are a ton to choose from, as well as numerous clubs and extracurriculars. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the cafeteria food, and maybe some facilities should be redone. Overall, I would recommend Bethlehem Catholic to anyone who wants a very personal and involved high school experience.
Bethlehem Catholic has had constant turnover in many departments, band director, football coaches and so much more. They cater to a select few and if your child is an athlete they can go there for free while others pay. No A/C and other basic provisions that children should have in this day and age. The building is run down. Most of the teachers care but the class sizes have dropped for the reasons that I have listed. If you go to the football games, people do not show up and this was not the case when my nephew attended just a few years back. When we came to watch him the stands were almost full. The band is small, the student section is a few kids. No support. Everyone is in it for themselves. We switched our child out last year as a freshman and we are happy we did. We still talk to parents and hear about the drama that continues at the school. It all stems from other parents thinking their kid is more important than the other. Entitlement is rampant.
Currently I am a senior at Bethlehem Catholic High School. Throughout my last 4 years it has been a somewhat roller coaster, since the pandemic hit during my sophomore year and disrupted half of my high school experience. However, even through the hardships, Bethlehem Catholic was able to adjust and provide all the necessary help for each of its students. Whether it was providing internet, textbooks, extra tutoring sessions, and chrome books. I deeply feel that Bethlehem Catholic is a beautiful place that gives its student the encouragement needed in order to succeed. It will always receive a great feedback from me as it has always made me feel welcomed and loved from the very beginning
