Beta Academy Flagship Reviews
Rating 4.6 out of 5 20 reviews
Best school! I have 3 enrolled in Beta, and they love going to school each day. It's such an energetic and joyful atmosphere. I could not ask for a better learning environment for them. They use the whole-brain teaching method, which is is really fun and engaging. I would have loved learning that way in school. They also focus on soft skills, and it's amazing to see the change in my two elementary schoolers. Everyone is so kind, and the teachers and staff really care about the success, safety and well-being of the students. I would recommend Beta to anyone!
From the literal rainbow-colored campus to the slide you can go down, Beta Academy brought so many wonderful experiences. The teachers and administration never failed to bring joy and fun to each scholar. Accomplishments were always celebrated and excellence was always encouraged; the best experience I had at Beta Academy branches off from this. When a senior would get accepted into college, the whole school would line up outside and cheer them on. The accepted senior would sit on the rainbow-colored "college chair" and be celebrated for their accomplishment. It was an amazing feeling and experience.
I have been a student at Beta Academy for over seven years now. The school and education system is great and holds some of the greatest teachers but there is countless of issues. For one, this school cannot go a few months without losing a teacher. Each of my years here, I have lost at least two teachers each year and we are left with substitutes and temporary staff in place for the remainder of the year. This becomes an issue in our learning and in our student-teacher relationships. Next, Beta Academy has staff that shows so much favoritism. This affects the opportunities given to students and limits them to just a handful. Each year the same couple of students are chosen to attend networking events and more. There is a few more issues, but as for the good things, Beta Academy holds their scholars accountable. Teachers here have high amounts of respect and love for their students which I see every year through many different teachers.
