With a maximum of 100 students, we provide consistent mentorship for every student and facilitate engaging programming to enrich students’ educational interests. I am a parent of two students that attended Besant Hill School. The school was able to provide a quality and challenging educational experience for both, even though they are very different types of learners. As day students, they benefitted from the boarding school environment in many ways. The structure of the academic day, and evening study hall, the weekend activities and clubs, trips domestically and internationally, and mostly the diversity of students from all over the world. Both have gone on to college (one has graduated) and were well prepared not only academically, but also for life. They are critical thinkers, they know how to advocate for themselves and stand up for what they believe, and they are not afraid to take risks. The amount of adult mentorship that they received at the school has given them guidance and confidence to go into the world and make a difference. Thank you!
I am an international alumni that is very thankful for attending Besant Hill School. First, is a beautiful and calm place with great people from all over the world. You learn A LOT outside of the classes by meeting all these people with different culture like mine. The teachers and staffs at Besant Hill they are always available for you and will try their best and a little more to help you. Now, my favorite part, Sports! Besant have many options of sports that you can practice and the best is that now matter how good or bad you are everyone is going to support you! They even bring you down to the beach to surf every week day and that was essential for me do get done with school stuff. After, graduating from Besant and attending college, I realized that this school prepared me in many senses for college and so I had the smoothest transition possible. I felt like I arrived to college in advance.
I really like this school because of the kindness, diversity and encouragement

It is a very outgoing, open and friendly school that focuses more on the arts but covers all the other major courses as well. It is a small school of only 100 students but it allows us to be more connected with one another and gives us the attention needed to succeed in our education. In this school you can be who you are and not have to fear of what other think of it. We are all different from one another and we should be proud of it. It is our differences that make us unique.
