Bernalillo gets a bad rep, but I received a very good education growing up the public school system. I think that if you apply yourself, utilize the resources like amazing teachers, you can too! The biggest challenge is to sift through the resources and use the one that while help you to excel!

The academics at this school were not the greatest and I cannot say that this school prepared me for college. However, this is not the teachers fault as it is the students who refuse to do anything and ruin the experience for everyone. Teachers are really caring and approachable!
I liked how my high school had culture. Everyone who goes there is either from a different pueblo or a different town. Its also really small, the student population is about 900. So everyone knows everyone and the community is so friendly. Id like to see the education to change though, i feel like the teachers can make a better effort to educate us better as well as the students. A lot of the students at our school are really lazy and are not open to learning new things.
