I entered Berkner as a transfer student, I was unsure I would find a welcoming environment but I was very wrong. The school is incredibly diverse and everyone has an interesting story. I found the teachers patient, understanding, and passionate; and the administration has made everything I could have dreamt of a possibility. If I had to suggest one thing, it would simply be nitpicking. Nonetheless, an integrated SAT/ACT prep course during the school day would have helped me. But overall, my experience attending Berkner High School has been an unforgettable one. GO RAMS!

The staff and teachers here are very cooperative and helpful! They are genuinely concerned about their students and their success. I have faced many problems, but the school helped me through a lot of hardship, allowing me to become more successful in my school life. The students here are varied far and wide- ethnically and goal-wise. From engineer aspirers to active athletes, all of them are supported by their teachers and coaches. I can confidently say that Berkner is a great learning environment for any student looking for success in their future.
My experience in Berkner High School is Great! Overall this school has given me a great experience with the AP classes, fine arts program, and the JROTC program. Most of the teachers care about the students and try to teach with a purpose. Although Berkner is probably the best school in Richardson, one thing I would love to change is the Cafeteria food; It is not the greatest. Also the involvement with the school or having school spirit is low, but I believe that also could change since Berkner is becoming a STEM academy and they are building a indoor stadium. Overall Berkner is a good school. Berkner is not perfect, but I think it is becoming better.
