The teachers are awesome. Throughout my high school experience, every teacher I had loved what they did and were ready to help students with anything, academic and non-academic. They truly care about their students in and out of the classroom, which makes it easy to build strong classroom bonds with the teacher and classmates. Also, the entire staff from counselors, janitors, hall monitors, and principal are all wonderful to chat with. They are welcoming and treat their students kindly. Counselors in particular, are a students best friend throughout high school because, at least mine was, because any questions about college, future plans after school, resources, and everything in between that I had, I went to my counselor and received a lot of help and quality advise. The last thing to say is that the more you seek help from your teachers and adults at the school, the more they will go beyond expectations to help you. They take education seriously but also make the classroom life fun.
Me, my sisters, and both of my parents have attended berkley high and we have all loved it! There are great teachers, councilors, and a great principal. Although our athletics aren't known to win every game, the experience is always enjoyable.
Berkley High School prioritizes it's students' educations. Students at Berkley High are provided with textbooks, tutoring from other students, and extra help from teachers before, after, or during school. It is very clear that the staff truly care about the students. There are various clubs for students to join and students themselves can even start clubs. This high school also has amazing music and arts programs. There are three different orchestras, six band ensembles, four choirs, and several art classes. One thing that I would like to see a change in at Berkley High is to include more diverse material that we are taught in our history classes. We students are taught only a fraction of the history of communities that are not white, cisgender/straight, or Christian. I know that most students would like to see more representation of black, indigenous, LGBTQIA+, Muslim people, and countless other groups of people.
