Berkley High School is honestly one of the best public high schools you could attend. The staff consists of people who genuinely want to be there to make sure you succeed in any way possible. You have so many opportunities to express yourself and explore multiple options to broaden your interest and make yourself into an all-around person. The programs, such as Music, Athletics, and Clubs are always growing and there is usually something for everyone! The students that attend Berkley are very supportive of one another and are always willing to help out a fellow classmate no matter what grade they are in. Berkley is a wonderful environment and any student is capable to excel here.

I love the amount of opportunities that I have (sports, clubs, etc.) at BHS and I love the supportive nature of the school staff. I also love the AP program, which has allowed me to discover my true potential and challenge myself to do even better. The AP program allowed me to realize that mistakes are an essential part to improving yourself. Berkley High School's renovations to the building itself are also amazing and make the school a comfortable learning environment. The one thing that I would change, though, are the school bathrooms. They have always been pretty sub-par and in need of some sort of repair. Otherwise I would definitely go to Berkley High all over again. Go Bears!
Overall, Berkley is an outstanding school. Growing up in a small town, I knew everyone that lived on my block. However, there is no diversity. Everyone is the same race, a similar social class, and the same religion. Although I made friends easily, I never got the experience to become friends with kids that were different from me. That being said, my education has been excellent and the teachers were all friendly. Another amazing quality of my school district is its safety. Because everyone lives to close to each other, there are 3 police stations within two miles of the school. I am so fortunate to live in an area where the police are so close, yet rarely needed.
