Berkeley High School is definitely a place that fosters the students' uniqueness and capability, but is definitely not for the faint of heart. Not only is the school academically rigorous, but the students are extremely politically and socially active on a regular basis- almost every year the school has had a walk-out protest!
With the specialized learning communities the school implements, students refine their abilities in certain fields such as Humanities, STEM, Community Service, and Fine Arts. Students are able to find like-minded people within those communities, and grow strong foundations and connections that prepare them for life after graduation.

The people here, students and faculties, are very nice and welcoming. Berkeley High is known for our strong passion for justice and equality for all, and having the opportunity to be apart of multiple protests that help make a change from all the various inequalities people are facing right now in society, is really meaningful and such a powerful message to convey. Overall my experience has been super fantastic and throughout the four years I’ve been going here I’ve met spectacular people who’ve positively impacted my life drastically, and I am so grateful for that.
Overall, Berkeley High has been great! Lot's of class choices at all levels and many clubs and activities to participate in. Although there are generally very good teachers at BHS, I think they could do a better job at controlling their classrooms. All too often there are students not paying any attention and taking time away from learning. Please teachers!
