I've been in the school for many years and have been morphed into a more refined and goal-driven person as a result. The system the school operates in could really motivate you if you really look for it. There are tons of different avenues you could take in terms of extracurriculars: a great deal of clubs as well as a healthy rotation of sports ranging from cross country to bowling.
One thing that could be changed, albeit minor, is in spreading the influence of guidance. Currently, going to guidance is a minor suggestion mentioned only a few times . However, guidance could play an integral role in a student's future and it's importance cannot be stressed enough: scheduling conflicts not brought to a counselor's attention could force a student into credit recovery. Thankfully, to my knowledge, that has not happened due to how hard both counselors work. Still, the communication needs to be there.
Also, the honors system in the school has flaws to it and is in need of drastic changes

Spent my 4 years of high school here. I would say this school is average. If you're looking for freedom or a high school experience, I wouldn't recommend. They're strict with the weirdest things, like they only allow you to use one bathroom in the whole building, no phones, and have a demerit system, etc. But they have a decent amount of sports. Clubs seem to lack a bit, but there's a good variety of classes. It gets the job done of giving you your education, but I wouldn't say anything about this school really sticks out, but again this is from my personal experience.
I think this school is pretty average, it has its ups and downs up. I'm pretty neutral on it and I'm being nice. I once got into a mess with admins since they decided it would be a good idea to log into a personal account on a website and dig through all of it. I was extremely disappointed in how administration could do this. I, of course knew what was going on and locked my account. The administration went on to manipulate me into opening my account back up. Now that I go back to this I do realize I did do some mistakes on my behalf, but I am still very disappointed. I'm in school and I expect to learn from mistakes. So what I still don't understand to this day is why didn't they use this as a learning experience instead of using this as an opportunity to bash on our records for highschool. I feel like administration could of handled this in such a better way than to create stress for students over an activity they didn't know was such a serious problem.
