I have a love/hate relationship with small town schools. LOVE it because the class sizes are smaller so more one-on-one with the students. I LOVE the fact the teachers know all the students, whether or not they have them in class. I love it when you walk around, and administration takes the time to say "HI" and listens to you. I LOVE the fact that students are able to take college courses while in high school and receive dual credit. The partnership with Kirkwood is awesome!
Hate the fact that some coaches ignore you-even though you have the talent for the sport-just because you don't have the name, aren't from the community, or the parents don't kiss up (brown-nose).

Overall very friendly teachers who care about you. Really strong fine arts program which is pretty rare at a small rural school!
I liked how throughout my school years I had many opportunities to participate in extra curricular activities and didn’t have to try out to be on the sports teams. The teachers have always been helpful and understanding as well. The only thing I do not like about the school is the size of the district and how far away my house is from the high school. All factors combined it has been a great school to attend!
