At Benton Central, they offer a countless number of opportunities through clubs and sports, as well as unique classes. Whether you're into gaming, photography, baseball, or taking leadership roles within your school or community, Benton Central has the thing for you! In addition, the teachers and counselors are excellent, always trying to help you and give you an advantage in the world beyond high school even though Benton Central is much smaller than many other nearby schools. Overall, it's a great school that encourages creativity and diversity in a positive manner.
Throughout my time at Benton Central, I have had many different experiences, both positive and negative. I have had the opportunity to make everlasting relationships with inspirational educators whose lives are dedicated to ensuring that each and every student succeeds, however, I have also seen, firsthand, circumstances where teachers show favoritism and other times show no passion for their jobs or for bettering their students.
As a student-athlete, I have been a part of teams who succeed and share an unbreakable passion for their sport, but I have also been part of teams that are defeated, not by their opponents, but by their coaches.
Although some students thrive and push themselves and show the utmost respect, there is definitely a large portion of the student body that never fails in disrespecting the teachers, administrators, and even their peers.

I loved my experience at Benton Central, there were the downsides and upsides but it definitely prepared me for college, and actually set me ahead in some areas of academics. I wouldn't say it is the best high school in the area but it is average and would have no problem sending my future kids there.
