Benson is my first school to study at when I first came to university. What I like about Benson is that it’s so diverse and it have different people from different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. You keep on learning everyday from different students. The school is small and there is few people in a class which gives people a chance to know each other and connect and make friendships with both students and teachers. The teachers are passionate about teaching and they care about their students. They offer lead which is just a free block of doing whatever you want and going to different clubs like movie clubs, games club, crochet etc including nap rooms or meditation. The problems is their lunch sometimes it isn’t enough and sometimes they don’t they forget to check the juices expiration date but most of the time it’s fine.
Benson was definitely one of my best experiences. They have great teachers and amazing counselors. The clubs at benson are endless, we have a dungeons and dragons club, drawing and painting club, Tutoring, etc.

At Benson, I had a bittersweet experience. One of the main things I really enjoy is the amount of diversity the school possesses and embraces. Students come from a variety of backgrounds, such as coming from countries like Somalia and Thailand. It’s inspiring being able to learn about the different cultures, customs, and struggles the students bring first hand. What I would love to see improve from Benson in the future is communication overall. A great deal of faculty have issues with relying important information to students, and even other staff members, as that information can be critical for many students to have. Overall, Benson lacks in many fields like sports and food, but the weight of the positive factors, such as academics and resources, add up to a decent high school experience.
