I really enjoyed the open and “liberal-ness” of my high school. It is very open to all kinds of people no matter race, background, or sexual identity. The school is very diverse and full of all kinds of people. It is also the top high school in Louisiana so it offers a great education. Something I think it can improve on its preparation of students for college. While it offers great academics, I believe catering more to where someone wants to go to college or what they want their major to be should be considered, especially in the upperclassmen years of school. Overall all, was a great experience!

At Franklin, students are given the opportunity to learn more about the world around them every single day. Despite how challenging others made out this school to be, counselors offer you millions of chances to keep your grades up, all teachers offer tutoring after school, and the environment is one of thee most accepting environments I've ever been in. No matter your identity, Ben Franklin will love you and support you!
Benjamin Franklin High School not only provided me with a multitude of opportunities, but also gifted me with the ability to connect and interact with a diverse network. From academic rigor to outstanding extracurriculars, Benjamin Franklin provided both a memorable and unforgettable high school journey. The faculty and staff were always accommodating, willing to work with students who expressed an unclear understanding of the course material. In addition, the counselors had an open-door policy, thereby allowing students to come and talk when students felt necessary. The sports' teams also demonstrated the importance of teamwork. Having graduated from the institution, I appreciate all the doors the school has opened for me and look forward to maintaining close bonds with the community in the future.
