From Benjamin Franklin Charter School - Power

We are a tuition-free, K-6 public charter school! Founded in 1995, we were one of Arizona's first charter schools. We emphasize civics and respect for patriotism. Our curriculum is rooted in Traditional Education. We teach students the foundational skills and knowledge needed to prepare them for their future.

Through our back-to-basics model, we focus on character development and academics. We do this not only by offering specials and extracurriculars, but also through our Core Virtues Program (a literature-based method of teaching civic virtues).

We offer FREE HALF and FULL-Day Kindergarten options! All kindergarten classrooms have two teachers, and students have small group time and individual attention during the day.

Other Programs and Features: Pre-K options through Seeds of Knowledge Preschool, Gifted/Talented Program, Before & After-School Care, Elementary Sports, Band & Orchestra, Music & P.E., a variety of clubs, and three recess breaks during the day!
