Benilde-St. Margaret's has played a major role in my life in forming me into the student, person, daughter, church member, performer, and friend I am today. As a student I never had a problem finding things to do– in fact I wanted to do too much! I definitely became one definition of overscheduled– but I loved it. The most beneficial part of trying all of these activities out for me was the clarity I was given of which activities I would prioritize and want to pursue. Being able to experiment in Junior High I was ready by the time I got to high school to leave my sporting career behind and continue to delve into the BSM drama and music departments. I participated in every drama department show available to me and was able to keep branching out and really make the most of my BSM experience. I am so thankful for the religious guidance and amazing work ethic BSM had instilled in me and I am ready for college!

My experience at Benilde - St. Margaret's was pretty good! The academics are very intense, or can be intense at times, but the teachers are always willing to help. I met many good people and great friends that I still talk to and hang out with to this day. Since the school tends to be more on the wealthy side, it's unfortunately expected that the diversity will be quite slim. The school is always saying how they're trying to be more diverse, but still intend to have their tuition to be higher than expected. Most of the food there is simply okay, or a complete joke. There's two choices for a main course. You can either have the food for today, which probably won't reach expectations; or you can have the literal fast food of fries and terrible pizza. Besides their "hot and fresh" food, made by "experts", Benilde - St. Margaret's is a great place for students to meet an academic challenge and to get a head-start in the college process.
My overall experience at Benilde- St. Margaret's has been great. The courses are challenging but that's because BSM is a college preparatory school. The faculty of BSM design their courses specifically with the intention of preparing students for college. The sense of community is amazing as well. Since BSM is a small school with around 1,500 students, everybody knows everybody. We're all connected to one another and other students, as well teachers, constantly encourage you to do your best. I would recommend BSM to students seeking a rigorous schedule along with endless clubs and athletics to partake in.
