As an alumnus of the school, I can't say enough about the tradition of the Corps of Cadets, the dedication of the faculty, staff, and athletic coaches, and the emphasis on growth in Christian faith. This is not a standard "Catholic School" where one faith-view is pushed on the students, and it is not a standard "Military School" where students with disciplinary issues are forced to adhere to a strict set of rules. Benedictine takes the best of the religious school and military school models and combines them with a liberal arts private education to develop young men of strong character, faith, and honor.

I'm the parent of a Cadet. The teachers, the sports, the clubs, and especially the academics are second to none. There are no participation trophies here. He is surrounded by high-achievers, and he strives to be the best of the best. Kids rise to their competition, so there is no better place for him to become the best that he can be. We could not have made a better investment in his future than sending him to BCP.
I couldn’t imagine being a graduate from anywhere else. I am now in my freshman year of college and wouldn’t trade my high school experience for the world. The faculty at Benedictine cares about their students more than anything, always wanting them to succeed. Not to mention that there truly is a brotherhood among the cadets— I now have lifelong friends. Also who can forget the fact the we dominate in all the major sports. 10/10 would recommend for any boy in the Richmond area.
