The school is a great school. One on one teaching with students with no more than 5 students per group with the teacher. Excellent academic program but the school is too small for a socially diverse student body. That would be my only con about the school. The school offers a significant amount of honors and 25 AP classes for a school of this size. The school is close to Emory University and the CDC, so sometimes there is a lot of traffic getting to and from school. Overall, excellent faculty and administration with no complaints on my end. If your student is struggling or is too brilliant and requires one on one teaching going at his/her pace, then please consider Ben Franklin Academy (BFA).

Truly an excellent school in so many ways, for a delightful variety of teens, from my son, a scholar-athlete, to the musical kids, the drama kids, the math genius, and the dreamy, soulful ones. The teachers at BFA, fascinating themselves, engage with them all, and the staff members are unique too, like Furman, who nurtures the roses; plus they all seem to lead interesting lives, which translate for the kids into inspiring conversations about everything from books to sports.

After three years there, my son, now a senior, will miss this place very much next year!
A wonderful school with mastery program learning. A lot of 1 on 1 teaching with students and teachers. The staff here really care about making sure you understand and have the help you need completing assignments. You can work at your own pace and take the time you need to understand, or work faster and finish classes ahead of schedule. I loved my time here!
