Ben Davis University High School focuses solely on academics. The school provides dual credits and is meant to prepare students for college, but, from my view, not all students will be sufficiently prepared. Overall, however, my experience has been positive. I have enjoyed learning under talented instructors who challenge us students to think differently about the material and become more inquisitive.
As stated earlier, Ben Davis University is tailored to challenge the most driven of the township's students. The ability of the instructors to deliver that, however, can vary greatly. Like any business, what makes a school successful is the people. The school needs administrators that can hold staff to high standards and, in turn, hold students to high standards. By ameliorating its weaknesses, Ben Davis University can achieve its goal to effectively provide students with dual credits.

Ben Davis University is truly amazing. I graduated last year and now attend IU! The best thing about BDU is that while I was working towards my highschool diploma, I was also working towards an associates degree. The teachers and counselors were always there to help me and motivate me.
At Ben Davis University High School you will get a head start on your early college career! Attending this school will give you the opportunity to earn your high school and some of your college credits. In, addition you get to interact with students from different walks of life. It's easy to make friends here because we all have the same goal, which is to finish our high school career strong and to attend college as well. BDU feels like a big happy and dysfunctional family. The teachers are there to support us because they all want us to succeed! BDU is a very close knitted safe environment. Teachers and administrators encourage us to go out in the community and help out. We are taught to give back and that there more to life other than academics. Overall Ben Davis University is a wonderful place to attend because it helps you to get started planning for the future.
