Look, it’s High School. This school and the district have done an amazing job with the pandemic! The athletics are really honored and high level at this school, and a very large part of student life.
That said, lunches are horrendous, if you even get any after a 20+ minute line. Most teachers are mediocre but you’ll find a few to stand out.

My experience of Belvidere North was weird because I was a Freshman when covid hit. I lost the end of my freshman year, all of my sophomore year, and about half of my junior year. The second half of junior year and the first semester of senior year is the first normal high school experiences I've had since freshman year. As fast as these four years went I also missed out on being a kid in school and by my last semester, I'm ready to be done which is why I'm graduating early. The grading system and lack of structure in the school after covid made it feel like school was optional and kind of gave everyone another year of not doing much to succeed. I enjoyed the little time I had at north but I will say from my first semester to my last the school's dynamic and community have completely changed and I can't say its all been for the better.
I love North, we have had great academics, sports, and facilities. These few things make our school a much better experience than I could have imagined. The atmosphere on Friday before we play against BHS is one of the most unique feelings. All of the teachers are so caring and they can really change how you see school. North has made me WANT to come to classes for the last four years.
