This is a very diverse all boys school. They focus on male adolescence issues in a way that students understand without embarrassment in a risk free environment. It is big on tradition and students appreciate knowing that they are following in the footsteps of many successful alumi that came before them. Some teachers have taught their fathers, uncles and brothers. Academically it is unmatched. Divided into Forms (Middle and Upper) with themes: Who are your heroes and why, What it means to become a man, Leadership, Responsibility and the Future. Students take one or more AP classes. International & domestic community service trips (Costa Rica, China, Italy) & cultural and charity events take place. The athletics program is one of the strongest in NE (16 interscholastic sports, field 57 teams, and compete in over 700 athletic contests each year) Visual arts, performing arts and music. Boys feel free to particiapte and take chances that they might not in a co-ed environment.

Belmont Hill School is an excellent school where students are taught to pursue their passions and academics. The school is academically challenging while students are expected to balance sports all year long. The schedule is long but it teaches you to manage your time and prepares you for college. This school is low on Niche's rankings for a weird reason. This school gets better results than many that those are listed and about 30 to 40 percent go to Ivy League.
Not sure why this Niche is giving it a C+ on diversity maybe because it is all boys? Belmont Hill is a very diverse community with different races and cultures represented in the student body and the teachers. They also have many speakers that are highly diverse at the speaker series as well as Middle School Diversity Workshops. Extracurricular activities often include participation with the girls from the Winsor School & Dana Hall.
