Belleville has good teachers, staff, and administrators. The school offers many extra-curricular activities and has great coaches for sports. I really like that BHS brings in different colleges so the seniors can apply on the spot, that was great! The only knock is I would like to see BHS offer a better variety of elective classes. Possibly classes on real life essentials, college planning, resume writing, college essay writing, college applications, etc. This would help to prepare us for our time outside of the high school walls. Overall my four years at BHS were memorable and fun.
Belleville is okay, but most students aren´t focused on their academics as they should be. I did new tech, my freshman year and I think they should get rid of the program because it´s not good as it use to be. The school needs a competitive Cheer team as well because many girls on the cheer team are very talented! Also, this school needs to care about its academics way more than it does, they need more teachers so we can have more AP classes and we need to talk more about the AP classes as well so we can have more people signed up for them and I think all english and maths teachers should assign SAT practice weekly to better prepare students but overall if you plan on attending Belleville or sending your child here, I would recommend Honors and Ap classes if they actually want to learn something
Counseling needs a lot of help! Mr. Sweets is fantastic, all other are subpar. Most of the teaching staff is great with few exceptions. School does some things to crfeate a fun learning enviornment but not as many as most students would hope for. Overall, I had such a great experience because of the students I became friends with.
