I attended this school from kindergarten to my senior year of high school. Most of my fondest memories were made at BHS. I met all of my closest friends there and became incredibly close with all of my teachers. I loved attending a small school that allowed me to get to know and interact with everyone I met. I loved participating in student council, concert band, the National Honor Society, and our drama/choir program. I honestly believe Bellaire High School is the best high school in all of Michigan.
I have loved my high school experience. I have made life long friends and have learned so many things, inside and outside of the classroom.
Computer labs have some old and some relatively new computers; about half are updated and have Google Chrome installed. The other half has Photoshop...not sure I understand the inconsistency, but it's a little annoying sometimes to be a senior and take a class in the middle school lab (with the older computers) because we have to work with Google Chrome. Just a trivial issue, however.
Counselor is always very eager to help, but sometimes seems to not keep up with what students are saying. Still, usually very helpful.
Busing has steadily been cut down, making for cramped buses and long routes.
