I have had a great experience at Bell Creek Academy High School! The academics at this school are great as we have the Cambridge Program(AICE), which I am a part of. This school is STEM focused which is good for me as I want to be an Astronaut. This school does have a plethora of cons with our facilities and sport programs. We only offer sports like Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, and Track. I have to play High School Tennis at the public high school I am zoned for instead. We do not even have a basketball gymnasium yet. Despite all the hate in years past, our administration has definitely improved. Our teachers are great, as they answer any questions you have and make sure everyone understands the topic. Other extracurriculars like NHS, Key Club, and SGA are very successful at our school. I am currently a part of NHS and Key Club here and we participate in awesome events like “Relay for Life”. I recommend this school to anyone who wants to be successful in life!

Bell Creek Academy is an excellent school because it is relatively small and has a curriculum geared towards preparing it's students for college! The size allows for a good teacher to student ratio. This ensures that all students receive equal education and attention in the classrooms. All students get the opportunity to get involved in activities as well as ask questions.
I went to BCA for 6 years (2 Middle School and 4 High School). It was constantly changing with new teachers and new administration. I say this to preface that my experience might differ greatly because of new staff.
Despite this, I was student government president for 2 years and worked to better my school experience in light of the constant shift in staff.
I learned from my time in the classroom and felt that my leadership skills were fostered and I grew into the student leader I am today.
My academics suffered in mathematics because I had poor teachers for half of my years at BCA and so my math foundation was weak. I do know, however, that the math teachers there have put forth efforts to change this and my last 3 years in the math were improved. Those teachers I know, no longer work at Bell Creek though.
