I have had a great experience at Bell Creek Academy High School! The academics at this school are great as we have the Cambridge Program(AICE), which I am a part of. This school is STEM focused which is good for me as I want to be an Astronaut. This school does have a plethora of cons with our facilities and sport programs. We only offer sports like Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, and Track. I have to play High School Tennis at the public high school I am zoned for instead. We do not even have a basketball gymnasium yet. Despite all the hate in years past, our administration has definitely improved. Our teachers are great, as they answer any questions you have and make sure everyone understands the topic. Other extracurriculars like NHS, Key Club, and SGA are very successful at our school. I am currently a part of NHS and Key Club here and we participate in awesome events like “Relay for Life”. I recommend this school to anyone who wants to be successful in life!

I have been at Bell Creek Academy since the school first opened in 2013, which for me was the start of 6th grade to the present, and now I am a senior about to graduate, sooner or later. I have never left Bell creek and I can tell you my time there was pleasant, as in there is no physical bullying, but primarily mental bullying. This school can be quite unorganized and the administration barely have any respect for the students or their parents, there are at least three people there who will treat you with respect and one being the front desk receptionist. I feel that this school hasn't entirely prepared me for the future, especially for math. It was either 8th grade or 9th, but there was a period where I had 3 different math teachers for the whole year, which leaves you with the feeling of instability. I have grown to have a love hate relationship with the school because of the lack of space in the halls and lack of sport space.
What I enjoy about Bell Creek Academy is its block scheduling. Rather than having 7- 45 minute classes a day, we have 8 classes that alternate the first four and second four classes every other day. I feel that I obtain a good amount of material without it being too rushed or too lengthy. Like any other school, there is always room for change and each school has its own flaws. Some things that I would like to see at Bell Creek Academy are its readiness into the real world and its variety of electives and clubs. It is a newer school compared to local high schools who have been establishes for much longer, but it is overall a very good school with quality staff.
